Because there's a near-identical dial on the back of the real prop and a community member was able to get a few minutes with the real deal to actually play with it:



I'm getting it via a secondary source.

Mine came today. I kinda like how the arms will close if you turn it off with the arms extended.

The beeping's pretty #$%ing annoying, though.

Read the manual. Press and hold down L1 and R1 and the beeping is muted until you turn the meter off. Only have to do it for 3 seconds though any time you don't want the sound on.

Oh, I know. However, “sound on” is the default at power-up, so for at least 3 seconds there is The Beeping…

One lovely PKE meter sitting here on my desk at work waiting for my return. Lovely! If I do have to come back here, it may as well be to this!

My manager didn't have much stock with the beeping, mind. Yes, I know I'm 32!
