Unfortunately the only digital camera I have access too is incapable of taking a non-blurry photo regardless of resolution, lighting, distance, or steadiness… but this should at least give you an idea…

The top right shows a side by side comparison (albeit blurry) of Pete's stock boots (left) and the Mego boots (right). Finally at the bottom right is a scan of the two boots to help make the details and scale more apparent (again the stock boots are on the left, and the Mego on the right).

Damn They look way more better, im thinking of buying another peter jut to open it.

Most of my ghostbusters action figures are completly worthless now. None of my slimed real ghostbusters slime anymore and they're missing their parts. My screaming Egon is missing an arm as is my screaming Winston and they're both missing their parts. The black colored jumpsuit Real Ghosbusters I have might be worth something. The Fire House is missing a door. And the pegs on it (including the ones on the pole) are gone. One of them went into the foot of my slimed Peter.

For those that have got the Venkman, cany anyone tell me, in person does the figure actually look anything like it's cartoon counterpart? It might just be me, but from the pics it doesn't really seem to have much of a resembelance. I'm toying with the idea of ordering one, but the likeness is stopping me.

The other thing that's stopping me is the potential of a re-release in a more accurate RGB uniforum as opposed to the citizen ghost unform, is this something that's expected?

The TRU wave is expected in January and all 4 guys will have their regular RGB colored uniforms, not the citizen ghost one. (Which, I might trade out the citizen ghost uniform for Ray's, to make Ray look closer to the earlier seasons, color-wise.)

Yea, that's not a bad idea regarding Ray. If I can make enough from my bits and pieces on ebay I might pick up the citizen ghost Peter and do the same when I get the standard versions.

As far as I'm aware the Citizen Ghost Peter was only a SDCC exclusive, and won't be available in Toys R Us when the line is officially released.

If you want the Regular version of Peter that is human, he is not to hard to find online. The Green ghost varient that was at this years SDCC was an exclusive and is selling for big bucks just about everywhere since the figure was blind boxed.

I just thought of something. If the first wave that is due out in January is really only the 4 guys, and they are going to wait to see how it sells before releasing anything more, then Mattel hasn't learned a thing from the GB: Classics line, and in fact is doing much worse!

GB toy lines need ghosts!! What good is having the 4 busters if there's nothing for them to go after? (I think the 12 inch line gets a little more lee-way here because they seem to be made more for display than play.) This is the line (Retro RGB) that, for whatever reason, Mattel decided to try and sell to the masses. It needs ghosts. One of the main complaints about the Classics line is that there are not enough ghosts.

The only ghost RGB will have for the forseeable future is the Citizen Ghost Venkman, which of course is very rare and no one who is just picking this line up in the store will be able to get.

I think this is very bad planning on Mattel's part. Just had to get that out there. Sorry- rant over.
