I don't really think anyone was “not getting along”. We were just discussing the concept of buying two figures was all. I know I wasn't taking anything personally, just discussing my opinion. Certainly wouldn't classify anyone's behavior as “goon-like”.

So where's the Ray figure? I'd like to see the full set together.

I hope the voices are a little better for the non-exclusive figures. “Citizen Ghost” Peter reminded me of a non-stuttering version of South Park's Jimmy.

Couldn't they just take the sound bites from the show, or are they going for that retro “toys sound absolutely nothing like their onscreen counterparts” feel?

Ray is in the picture from SDCC… they haven't shown the cartoon version of Peter.

It would cost more money to take actual sounds clips from the show, so to save money they get imitators.

You know what? After looking at it again, I realized that was Ray after all. I should have paid better attention to the uniform's color as it was missing Venkman's green.

I hope they refine the head sculpt on him. It doesn't look enough like him, in my opinion, especially if I can't instantly recognize him.

I finally figured out what was bothering me about the voice in the figure. It's not so much that the voice itself doesn't sound like Music, it's that the lines aren't said with the same tone/inclination/whatever that they were in the show. For example: “Dr. Venkman prescribes a nice long nap in the containment unit.” In the episode that is playfully yelled by Venkman in an alley following “Ollie Ollie Oxen-free. Come on out.” The voice chip in the figure is just a flat reading of the line.

Yea, this was my issue too. There's no inflection. Its just random flat read lines, as if the guy did one take of each line on his lunch break.

Sad to say, I'm not fussed on action figures anymore. I just don't have any space!(;_
