Gotta admit - I'm kind of surprised that the Citizen Ghost Venkman (human version at least) is still available on the matty website. Figured he'd be sold out by now.

After a few failed efforts at winning one for less in auctions, I finally went ahead and bought the Venkman variant last night. I'm anxious to add that to my wall.

After a few failed efforts at winning one for less in auctions, I finally went ahead and bought the Venkman variant last night. I'm anxious to add that to my wall.

The good news is, the price has started to come down on these.

Its still high, which its always going to be, given the rarity of the item.

But at least now its going for $60-80 rather than $100-120.

Yeah, they're a little more within my price range now. I paid $75 after shipping.

Considering I've spent much more on collectibles in the past, and that I also really dig the figure, it's not too bad.

I was curious, does the Citizen Ghost Peter Venkman have batteries inside the figure?

If he does then how do prevent them from leaking?

It definitely does, since the audio is still there. As for preventing the leak… no clue.
