Official Mod Voting Thread

I looked the other posts so we can keep the discussion centered here. EDIT: I just remembered locking the thread disables voting. That said, please post here so voting communication will be easier.

Basically, like I said earlier, I wanted to shy away from the word “Mod” or “Moderator” and go towards groups of individuals which will help foster growth in each section of the board. These people were nominated because they have shown themselves to be leaders of the community.

Think of these boards as a nation. There will be some very basic rules which will blanket all of the forums, however there will be “state” rules which will be placed in each group. These rules won't be there to rule individuals. However, this model will be implimented to help each group of forums define its own personality and do things that wouldn't normally be allowed in others.

For instance, I see the Misc. forum possibly containing material and language that wouldn't be used in the GB forum, etc. This should help the community as a whole be able to visit each of the forums and get something different out of each one which should make it a more specialized and more interesting experience.

Finally! :p

I've done all my voting. I hope to see that only the truly qualified members are elected.

Wait a minute, so where is the voting for the misc. forum. I saw the gurus, paranormal, and fan projects…

There is a thread for voting for those to moderate the Misc. forum. It's called Vote for The Misc Guys.

Is it me, or do some people seem to be taking this far to seriously?

Arguments and such. I mean it apears it's more difficult to run the site than it was England in the dark ages.
