Official Mod Voting Thread

A serious question (is that allowed here :-) ?)

Some people have nominations in multiple categories, people like Shadow_weaveR, Sinister, and, um, me. There's still a week to go, but hypothetically if the voting closed right now there are people who would “make the cut” in more than one category.

So what I'm saying is this: what would happen, as an example, if Sinister was elected as both Paranormal and Fan Fiction mod? Would he get the be a mod in both areas, have to chose one or another, or be put in the one he got the most votes in (and would that be by raw votes or percentage?)

Or would we just call in the Supreme Court to decide?

I think what should happen for multiple categoried MOD Nominees, is that they choose ONE that they want to be, then he is cut from the others, allowing someone else the chance to move into position
For example:
MasterSpider gets Misc. and FanFic
MasterSpider chooses Misc.
MasterSpider is eliminated from FanFic
thusly, whoever was next in line of the six original winners, is bumped up.
I used Tom as an example cause I knew he had multiple nominations :-)

I say they get both, they get the nominations they get the votes they should have both titles simple as that.

Both titles?
Whats the point then in having separate mods for separate boards…
Alot of you are up for at least 2 boards.

Don't start anything EB, I've had enough trouble caused by the petty squabbles. I never said I didn't take things seriously some times.

Kingpin, and Egons Babe I have a most excellent idea. Before this gets out of hand and destroys this thread take it to private messaging, e-mail, or instant messaging. I'm sure most of us don't want to read the squabbling between you two that could cascade out like no tommorrow. This is just a suggestion that I hope you both go for.
