Aside from the obvious Ghostbusters (yes, I watched BOTH incarnations).

Cartoons: I best liked Garfield & Friends and Alvin & the Chipmunks

Movie: Transformers: The Movie and Oliver & Company (There, I said it I really remember liking the music. Billy Joel. What can I say? I had taste, even at an early age)

I'm not a fan of animated movies. I am a fan of cartoon shows though.

My favourite 80s cartoon shows are all the sci fi/action ones.

1 The Real Ghostbusters
2 Thundercats
3 MASK
4 Transformers
5 Centurions
6 Galaxy Rangers
7 COPS
8 Visionaries
9 Bravestarr
10 Galaxy High
11 Bionic Six
12 Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles
13 He-Man
14 Voltron
15 Robotech
16 Gobots
17 G. I. Joe
18 Silverhawks

I hope we get a tv channel dedicated to all these great 80s shows one day.

Yeah, the Dragon Ball Manga only started being published in 1984. Although in the 70s, Akira Toriyama was still trying to create the concept lol.

And ya know, I seem to recall having been told that in the past about the manga series proper being published around then.

I will be perfectly honest though; in my youth I was more a fan of the later portion of the manga and the anime of Dragonball Z than the earlier portion of the Dragonball manga and the anime based on it.

Most people are. I like Dragon Ball for it's light styled humour, and I like Dragon Ball Z for it's serious and darker stories.
