I just pulled this from a message board, the guy read an interview with Dan: “He was talking about all the rumors and lies that have been spread about GB3. Dan
said that he and Harold Ramis are just about to hand over the final and ultimate draft of the
script to Sony Pictures. ”The chances for a third installment to the Ghostbuster movies, are
looking pretty good.“ said Aykroyd. The interview was on July 27, 2001.”

July 27, 2001? OKay, this is where i got confused. If my memory serves me correctly, Dan was STILL on his first Draft on GB3 script when he turned it over to Sony…and it was a long time (way before July) that Sony denied the movie being made. What the funk??

Either one of those interviews could be a rumor or fake, I'm not saying they are but its diffenetly possible. I wouldn't completely trust anything unless you heard it straight from Sony, Aykroyd, Ramis, etc.

PizzaMaster has a good point. But one can always hope that the rumors would be true.
