Personally, I can't watch a movie with the characters turned into simply old men who pass on the torch to the next generation, just like Star Trek Generations where Picard oneupped this system and literally buried Kirk and the original Trek series.
But I think that the best future for GB lies in anime or the revival that Red has promised. I think graphic anime shorts of the RGB facing stuff never imagined is appealing…
Oh, and Sinister's script does sound cool.

My idea was that in GB3 two new, younger, GBs are added to the original four. They are not replacements, just some extra help. And they would never EVER upstage the originals. They'd just be additional comic relief.

If that's the case, then you gotta pick the best comic duo for the roles. Jay and Silent Bob comes to mind
