It felt appropriate to bookend two shots of Mr. Stay Puft together. The one on left, the very first ever screenshot we saw of Terminal Reality's effort, and a screenshot from one of the pretty much finished cutscenes posted this year.

It's not just the quality and the detail that's been exhibited in the space between those two images being posted online, but also what we've all experienced. After so long and so much, we're finally going to be realising something special (some have already, but bah sucks to them), we're finally going to be living that dream that we've shared for so many years, we're finally going to be Ghostbusters.

Having been a fan of the films and cartoons for over 20 years, it's great to see this finally come to fruition, and to see the community and franchise get its long-deserved second wind.

I hope you all enjoy Ghostbusters: The Video Game, it's been long in the waiting and a stressful process, but we'll all now know who we're gonna call!

Seriously, The Ghostbusters game will be a jewel in my Video game collection.

I wish all a good time playing it no matter the console, I for one, will not be on at all until the game is beat so it may be a few days before anyone sees me on the board…lol

However once the game is beat you can bet I am going straight into multiplayer with you all!

But Kingpin, you're comparing gameplay and a rendered scene.. you KNOW that it isn't fair .

I'm just waiting for my store to open so I get grab my copy.. hopefully they have it.

Oh I c wht u did thar Kingpin and I loled. Man, I can't wait till a little more then 1 more hour and it will be awesome!

Definitely a ‘Dear Diary’ moment!

This is one game that I definitely won't get rid of.

I have waited for this game since november 2007, but this last week before I get the game, will be a HEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been waiting for the game release for ages too, plus watching the videos of it on the GB.net main page has made me want it more. Although, for me I'm going to have to wait until October until it's release on PC computers in the United Kingdom, I guess it will be well worth the wait which is very awesome and cool… :-)
