I've seen the disccusions and I would like to know for sure the best answer even though it is based on personal opinion, I got may self a nice growing collection but I always leve them in the package and I'm serously thinking of buying some of the loose matty GBs figures just to have some of them open for display.

But since IM kinda bored I wanna make a Poll, so vote and leave your comments.

I can't vote, because its both for me.

I keep one for display, and one in the package with most GB stuff.

Open. The toy/figure/item isn't achieving it's resin d'etre by staying in a box.

I'm a both kind of person as well. I enjoy displaying stuff but I enjoy collecting it too and sometimes I worry I'll lose some of the pieces or whatever so I keep a lot of the stuff I buy in the box.

Hard to say. I enjoy having them in both forms. But if the item I paid for is old and more valuable in the box, I'll keep it in their.

Then again, having it out of the box is fun cause you could play with it.

Pretty much as mentioned above, everything new I open, anything old still in the box I keep in it.

This goes for comics as well:

Not opening it and using it for what it was meant for is an insult to the artists.

Same, I like to do the same thing with my GB merchandise.

Some people don't want to possibly damage it by opening it. Sort of like, “it looks really cool, but if I open it I might break it”. This is my #1 reason for opening certain items, and as I can't recall how many things I accidentally damaged. But now I buy doubles lol.

Comics though are more complicated. New ones I'm not reluctant to open and read, because it's fairly easy to find.

But older harder to find comics; well, it's unlikely that owners of an original Action Comics #1 will start opening it up to read because it's an insult to the original artist not to. It's not opened in hopes of preserving it.

Anyway, that's my take on the comics part of things.
