There seems to bo some controversy about the GB items I have for auction on ebay.
Well Here is the full story.
The License Plate:
The plate was made by the company that made the originals for the film. This one is a plastic one and there were two just like it made for the film and were used in the driving around scenes. The “HERO” plate shown in the close up IS made of Metal and is sightly different than the plastic ones. (I own a Metal one too, and it matches the DVD frame exactly) If any one is interested the reserve is $175.
The LIFE Magazine cover:
Is was printed for the original paste-up just like the one shot for the film. It is no different from the screen used one.
The Balloons:
They were from the same batch made for GB II and have been sitting since the production
The Door Logo:
This is an original one printed at the same time the ones used on the car were. it is not a “Re-Print” or a “copy” it is as real as any that were actually attached to the car.
I want to ad one thing, someone mentioned preserving the original props, etc. It is probally too late for the original ecto I saw it at sony a while ago (along with the 1A) the original is trashed (only the 1A is kept up.) parts are missing and all three Logoa (they were printed on paper) are faded completely away, only a damaged paper shape remains.
I work in the Motion picture industry, I was able to find these items and make them available to fellow Ghostbusters fans. If anyone had any question about the athenticity of these ites they could have emailed me at any time.
