Original UNOPENED Firehouse Playset, NRFB

Ok, so when I was a kid I recieved 2 Kenner Ghostbusters Firehouse playsets for Christmas. One from my parents (which I opened and played with constantly), and another from my Grandmother. I decided to keep the second one and I never ever opened it.

The box is in incredible condition…no tears or rips, and the colors are still bright and haven't faded. I have always kept it in my closet in every house I have lived in, and always kept the dust wiped off. It has also always been in a completely smoke free environment.

It's always been a prized posession of mine, and most people can't believe their eyes when they see it. I'm sure there weren't many people that never opened such an amazing toy. I know that I have never seen one for sale on Ebay, and have no idea what the value could be.

I can post some pictures tomorrow sometime if anyone would like to see it. I am possibly thinking about selling it…for the right price.

Feel free to shoot me an email at farawaypoints85@gmail.com. Again, I will post pictures, and I will be happy to email you pictures from every angle of the box.

Any comments, info would be much appreciated.

I've seen them on ebay before and I want to say it around 100.00. You might get more if you just keep holding on to it and sell it if they ever make the 3rd movie.

You don't look on Ebay often then, do you? There is one up for sale now with a starting bid of $300.

They are not as uncommon as you think.

I said I offered $100 not he asked for $100

Well he never replied because your lowball offer was so absurd it was borderline insulting.

You know MSRP waqs like $70 almost 25 years ago on that toy…..and it's a collectable. Might be worth a tad more than a $100, no?

you can only give what you can give, the person could have been courteous enough to give a reply, to say i want more or just to say no but he didn't. i don't see what the issue is here

There's no issue. You're entitled to make an offer. $100 is low, but still a considerable amount of money. Don't be ashamed of that offer. Don't be surprised it wasn't accepted either, but the guy should've responded, you're right.

130.50 with less than an hour to go. starting bid and what an auction goes for are two very different things. I can list some of the things that I have on ebay for whatever I want it does not mean they are worth it. Like I said before you can get a NIB Ghostbusters firehouse for around 100 on Ebay.
