It did NOT sell for $165.50. People don't figure shipping costs into their purchase price. It sold for $130.50. You don't need to attack the guy, he's right. It sold for $130.50, which is much closer to $100 than it is to the $300 you claimed would be much more fair. He didn't say $130.50 is $100 either so there's no need to act like he did by saying you'd trade him $100 for $165.50.
The attitude wasn't necessary. The firehouse sold for much less than you implied they go for regularly.
Were did I attack this man? Hello ….winky face.
I'm not attacking him at all, and I don't see how I was coming off as so. $135 is still more than $100. It's a big markup, hopefully you think 33% is a big. It is btw.
It also fell short becasue of 11 ref count by the member. Higher established members pull down more money off Ebay…known fact. If a guy with 2k + refs sells it I bet you it goes for around of over $200…possibly more.
Yet, I see no where in my post that I attacked this man. So why would you even bring that up? unless you are trying to counter-attack me?
Why even be the 3rd man in for that matter?
I also agreed with him that Ebay can work in mysterious ways….what something is worth and what it's final ending price falls at is two entirely different things.
The man who started this asked for a price….I told him what it was worth. He told him what you might end with on Ebay, Otehrs are trying to get $300 for it…..they might, they might not. Why wouldn't you at least TRY to get maximum value at first…if it doesn't sell then you can work your way down from there.
One auction going off at $135.50 does NOT make that item worth exactly that. Ebay is almost like a false valuing system. If I went and sold my *ok super geek alert here* Alpha Black Lotus(it's a Magic the Gathering Card if anyone is wondering) on Ebay and I only pulled $1,100 it does NOT make all Alpha Black Lotus' worth said price. Also in turn if I sell it and get $2,500 it does not make all of the worth that either.
This is why I agreed with the Him about item worth/ item selling price.
