Peck Only a Villain Because Of Venkman?

Well, did he really win? He gets thoroughly humiliated in the Mayor's office, the Ghostbusters end up fully vindicated in spite of his efforts, and he gets a ton of melted marshmallow dumped on top of him just to add insult to injury. And in his sole RGB appearance, he's embarrassed even further.
My point was that Peck wanted to shut down the Ghosbusters and that's exactly what happened between Ghostbusters 1 and 2.

Yeah, but them being shut down was nothing to do with Peck (except maybe indirectly).

Yea, I was wondering about this. He get's “hot marshmellow” dumped on top of him right? So….later on their should be signs of scarring? I mean even drip a hot substance on yourself? Like hot nacho cheese or something? I'm sure it wouldn't feel too good on your face, let alone the irrevesible damage it would do.

Yet in the game and RGB Cartoon(I could see why they wouldn't add that here) he has nothing wrong with him. Even the slightest sign of something should be apparent.

Maybe if Peck returns for GB3, he might show some signs of burn scarring. I too found it strange he seemed untouched in the GB game.

Well… if you had to think about it, maybe it wasn't super-hot… maybe it partly liquified because Gozer's control over it was cut.

As for another reason, it would've been off-putting had the animators and game makers burned Peck.

Something like that wouldn't have been neccesary.

I figured that it had cooled somewhat during the fall from the roof; what's already on the ground does seem partly solidified.

Peter says in Ghosbusters 2, “We got stiffed on the bill by some buracratic bookworm like yourself.” which obviously means Peck.

He was referring to the person who was supposed to pay them for the Gozer job, which obviously wouldn't be Peck.

Whenever I have this topic brought up I always mention how Peck was a Junior EPA Administrator. Clearly he has a chip on his shoulder and was looking to springboard his career.

If he was able to shut down one of the biggest gigs in NY at the time, imagine what that would do for his track record.
