I'm seconding this sentiment because it's just become completely counter productive.

Furthermore, you can still get those games. eBay. You can enjoy them, and you know'll that not a single dollar you spent on it would be going to Activision, thereby everybody's happy.

Now come on Ben. That's just a cop out way of giving them money. Buying a game from someone who bought it is just like paying a friend to go buy the game for you. If he's gonna boycott he should boycott. He shouldn't even rent the game because then he's supporting Blockbuster and they support Activision.

just buy your Activision games used at Gamestop. Activision won't get any money from that.

I did respect his opinion. I've said a million times that I agree with him in his anger over the game being delayed. What I don't respect, and don't have to respect, and will not respect, is the constant whining. That's not having an opinion. That's nonsensical complaining and not adding anything to any conversation. That's not acceptable. That's not something I have to respect.

And for the record, I was using f*** in response to him using it.

Well honestly, I can see why Doctor Venkman is getting annoyed. Yes, it sucks the game is delayed. But seriously, do you have to keep posting the same dam thing in every topic? You hate Activision now, we get it. Move on to another topic, because boycotting a company over the release of one game just shows that you have no life outside of the franchise, or the internet.

Surely there is something better to talk about. The game is not canceled, so we have to be thankful of that. And it was my understanding that it was one of the new people in Activision who pulled this one, but going as far as not buying their games again just because they don't publish one game? That's really childish. One day, they might be publishing a game you really want to play, almost as much and Ghostbusters and when that happens what will you do?

Just get over it. It's a GAME. Yes it sucks, we know that, and boycotting the publisher won't do any good because what's done is done.

This isn't a case of someone acting like they're better than someone else, or about not respecting someone's opinion. You can only respect a person's opinion so much in light of them saying a lot of variations of the same thing, and never moving past the one topic they're stuck on. Jonathan has frankly exhausted a lot of people's patience by doing nothing but constantly complain and bitch about Activision. It's already led to one topic being locked twice, and I wouldn't rule it out that this one might end up getting locked if we don't hear anything by November 1st.

And that is a guarentee, if we haven't heard anything by November 1st and if I see Jonathan still complaining about the game's delay and not finding something more constructive to use all the effort he's expending on his complaints, then I'll see no other course but to remove (lock) the opportunities for him to find a forum (no pun intended) to vent his complaining, for the good of forum harmony.

Jon, I like you and from what I can tell, most of the forums do as well, its just we got it already, you don't like activision for what they did, neither do we, but there comes a point you just accept it and move on. Just please stop stating it and yes, if you feel that activision does not deserve your money for the royal shaft they gave us, guess what, then thats the action you feel you must take. Guess what, its how I feel as well, so do what skankerzero said, buy their games used, then they a) dont get the money and b) you still get to enjoy web of shadows, and thats what I plan on doing.
