How's that? It's all speculation on their part, since Atari has yet to give a specific date other than early summer and hope it coincides with the 25th anniversary. It could mean later for all we know, so I wouldn't trust the dates on those sites until they officially confirm the date.

Its definitely better then what people were speculating when it came to Dan's words about it being a year, besides, isn't June when the movies originally came out, if so, I could see why the games would now have a June release date.

Yes that is true. However, it is still speculation on there part, so none of these dates are truly official until Atari comes out and says they are. Don't get me wrong, I'm hoping it's gonna be as early as this too. But until we get real word, I wouldn't trust these dates as fact. There dates right now are a good as a guess as any, but that's all they are.

The game would ship on June 16th and be in stores the next day so if the date sticks the game will be released on your 26th birthday.
My GF had the game reserved for me for my 26th B-Day(OCT 16th), she reserved the day before we got the news about the delay, I was pissed, but now I'm just happy it found a good home. Great job Atari.:-)(*peter)

What makes you think its more likely that it will be spring? I'm not trying to attack you, but that just doesn't make sense to me. Everything has pointed towards a summer release to coincide with the 25th anniversary.

They probably won't release it Spring time the more i think about it tbh. But they might do, you know like a month or 2 before June to get it out in time for the anniversary. That way people will have it in time for it ur see. Dunno though, av to wait n see. I'm still hopein for spring time though. As long as it ain't fall though eh?

The 16th is a Tuesday, so if the game does come out on June 16th then it will be in stores on the 16th. Most new games come out on Tuesdays with some exceptions of course.

Well, for some reason, they've been releasing alot of games on Sundays now, I know that Spore was released on a Sunday, and Animal Crossing for the Wii is as well, same with Smackdown vs. Raw 2009, but those are only three games, so I dunno.

Yeah MK vs. DC is coming out this sunday too… but I think generally they're still usually released on tuesdays.

I was ah…..kind of hoping for MK vs DC to be good, but…they censored it too much now. I mean yeah I can understand some things, but some other things are ridiculous.

Mirror's Edge looks promising although short according to reviews. Although Portal was short, yet still satisfying so we shall see.

Anyway, for now the release date for GB is between January - June 2009, unless something official is said.
