I'd suggest avoiding it because it sounds like a desperately pathetic attempt to keep the Mortal Kombat franchise alive.

Oh, come on, it's got Batman in it! That game magazine I mentioned a while ago listed that alone as one of the reasons to buy it.

As a DC and Mortal Kombat fan… that hurts. Of course I'd suggest actually trying the game out or waiting for the reviews before condemning it because one doesn't like the idea, but to each their own.

Of course, I just find it sad that the game would be so much more well recieved if it had gory fatalities… I get the feeling that a lot of MK fans would accept a crappy game as long as it was gory over a good game that was less so. We must keep in mind though that I like Mortal Kombat because of the mythology and characters, so it's a no brainer as to why I think the way I do about such things.

The problem there is that that's the thing about Mortal Kombat, the fatalities, and the fact that they got censored just downright sucks, oh, we can show the Joker penciling someone in the eyeball, but heaven forbid someone can make him shoot someone in the head.

Blame the ESRB for that one. Anyway, I'd love to debate and/or argue about this, but this isn't the place for it and well, there's absolutely no point because we won't change how each other feel.
