Good, cause I don't intend to, though like I said, he's Dan Aykroyd, this is pretty much his franchise, when the creator of something, especially something this big and popular can't say something, there's a problem IMO.

Companies put a lot of effort into protecting their investments, regardless of the fact Dan created the franchise.

Yes, it doesn't seem right… but this is how business has been done for years.


And at least Dan is recognised for being the brains behind the hit, many years ago comic artists were not allowed to sign their work and usually didn't have any legal ownership of the things they created. Some artists never saw a cent from their creations.


So yeah, it doesn't seem right that he can't say whatever he wished he could say, but he's legally bound so some things he can't talk about at the risk of getting sued.

To me, next year is anytime between January and December, I bet anything that it comes out in June, cause it'd make no sense to delay the game a full year.

Except he didn't say its coming out “next year” he said “in about a year”. About a year is 12 months. If he had said “next year” than yea, that would work, but “in about a year” means “in about 12 months”.

I believe this was the case for the creation of Superman. While they were credited for their work, they were barely getting anything (about $10,000 or less) off the hundreds of millions DC was making. Course, times have changed since then, which is good to know.

I still bet it comes out around June. Sitting on a game that was damn near complete for a full year is just stupid IMO, I bet it comes out around the time the Blu-Ray disk come out.

Yep, that's pretty much right. Who knows though, one thing though, if it does get delayed till next October (heaven forbid), maybe Terminal Reality can get together with Dan and see about getting some Ghostbuster clothes for your avatars since the NXE update is coming out next month.
