Considering the game was originally to be out this past Tuesday and yet we still don't know anything for sure I'm not all too excited that we'll even see this game. It was a bad move for activision to drop this game but for the creators of the game to leave us hanging like this is another.

If the deal isn't signed they can't say anything. What is it that people don't understand about this? Aykroyd probably just knows what's coming once all the t's are crossed and i's are dotted. He probably said something that he wasn't supposed to be saying, but dear Lord, will nothing outside of an official press release with dates and new screenshots and a demo satisfy you?

If the game was a completed project then what's the holdup. Activision dropped this game almost 3 months ago. So much can happen in that much time but as far as this game goes its seems like nothing has happened. All I'm saying is the guys who made this game should've come out and made some public announcement of exactly what was going on.

It wasn't completed, it was close to completion.

Anyway as for why nothing's been heard, amongst other things they likely have to book new TV air time for promotion (I assume, I'm no expert). And apparently they were going to use the time to work on it more.

Not really, an official release from Atari saying that they picked up the game would definitly be nice by now. To bad its only 5 days away from the end of October, shame really, the game would've been perfect to play on Halloween come this Friday, thanks Activision.
