Continuing with my upgrades for my upcoming GB3 fanfic, here's my PKE idea.
Now, for those of you just joining me, the theme behind most of my equipment upgrades is the same as most; make it smaller, lighter and more efficient. Originally, I was going to stick with the standard PKE movie design and just give one to every guy…until inspiration hit me.
Imagine if you will a PKE meter resembling a flip-top cell phone. It would have a full digital display and an ability to change range power. It would also have a direct uplink to the Tobin's Spirit Guide online database for on the spot reference. The PKEs would be given to each 'Buster and stored in a leather pouch on their web belts.

Well, yeah…I'm not doing what everyone else is thinking, yet another “back in business” story. Mine is set that they've been doing just fine all these years.

That's a surprisingly good idea. I like it.
