Now, I'm not the kind of person to start an argument, and I don't intend for this to be thought of as one, but here goes.

I've been using the Personal Messenger system on this site ever since I came here, and haven't been having any problems with it, until a few days ago. Someone has either been reading mine or someone I've talked with has informed another User that I don't like them, and that I accused them of “abusing powers”. Now I'm not sure what happened, but I just wanted to tell whoever did this that it's called a PERSONAL Message. In other words, it's nonya, so don't read things that don't concern you. It's rude, and damages not only that person's reputation, but yours as well.

Another thing I've noticed are the Polls (Namely two that were in the Miscellaneous Forum.). Someone has also been messing with them. Where there are two choices, the obivious most least common of the two is winning the majority of the votes. IMHO, I don't think that's very fair. It's unconstitutional and dishonest to mess with them. They're polls. Everyone gets one fair vote, right? Votes aren't supposed to be “switched” around like that.

Has anyone else noticed the same problems?

Yes. I have noticed these problems. And as an admin, it's very very easy to switch the results of a poll around.

Only the person with access to the database can change such stuff, or read private messages.

So are you saying that Chad is the one doing the tampering?

Maybe. Mr. Pink was the person I was PMing. And I know that a good honest person like him wouldn't do something like that. However, someone else might… That's why we should all stick to IMing (Whatever that is. ) and e-mail.

Reading other people's mail is a Federal offense punishable by jail time.

No, actually someone read the message I wrote you. And they had read a message I wrote to Tex. After reading both of them, this “person” did something to make me another victim of unfairness and power abuse. I'm sorry for not telling you the “complete” story, but we're all being watched and there's nothing we can do but leave this site.

Then head on over to GBHQ…can't be any worse, but can definitely be much better.
