Well there's all this talk about how if GB3 happens, it'll involve a “younger team” of GBs. So, does this mean that this younger team will be based on the ones from EGB? If so, what actors do you think would best match the younger EGBs? The EGBs are Garrett, Roland, Kylie, and Eduardo. I already think who might be a great Kylie, and her name is Eliza Dushku. I saw her last night on Buffy, and thought “Wow, she looks great”. Then when I was looking at her, I thought of Kylie from EGB. She has the right look. Well, give me your opinions on cast ideas…

That is a good idea, but I would certainly miss Danny Akyroyd, he was always my fav. The idea of a younger cast is certainly a good one, just have to come up with the right actors. BTW I've never watched buffy

It would be cool to see new members but theres no one better then Peter, Egon, Ray, and Winston. In like the end where they fight the main Ghost, I would hate to see new people doing it.

I always imagined Johnny Depp as Eduardo and Charlize Theron as Kylie and Joshua Jackson as Garret doesn't sound like a bad idea, and the Roland position is open.

just kidding. Seriously, though; the first movie featured adults. The new team will have to be as knowledgabe as the old in areas of the paranormal and physical sciences, and it wouldn't be very believable to have a bunch of teenagers or college students with as much knowledge as people who spent years earning doctorates (I know, it's just a movie, but still, little stuff like that is what helps make the movie believable to the people watching it).

I believe that Aykroyd gave most of the lines to the new team but still gave a lot of time to the origional cast in his GB3 script.
