I've finished the game on hard/medium/easy difficulty (with all the problems the game have). I'm in a quest to complete the spirit guide and scans, on easy mode, and I didn't had any problems at all with the game (the ghosts/team still do their things). And yes, I'm even playing with the female character.

After being tired of the bugs, something told me to go in the options. And I've put my settings like this:

Help is off

Tutorial is off

AutoSave is on

Subtitle is on

Aim assist is off

Vibration is off

And you know what, I'm playing from the “TvQuest” and the game never freeze. I bet it's the “Aim assist” the problem (maybe the vibration too, who knows).

Slot 1 had a 100% completed quest.. and I've lost the data when turning off the console on the autosave. I think it hit Slot 2, because the data said only 2 scans and a couple pages are still missing, when the “TvQuest” says even more.

Anyway, change the setting, who knows how it'll run; and please don't shutdown the system…

Does that help on the XB360 version?? I hate the freezin!!

the x360 version freezes? I've never seen that happen

It happened 3 times last night… playing Live… I was worry about it (thought it was the console, you know, the damn RROD) but then I played Gears of War 2 for about 2 hours and never freezed… I think it´s th GB game the problem. :s

Actually the freezing is from lag, happened to me a couple times. For some reason, maybe graphics, if your internet isnt working really great it lags easily.

Thanks for the information, I'll check my settings tonight (at college right now). Say does that weird glitch where you fall through the level going through the portals in the return to the Sedgewick Level?

I like to thinking of it as the falling through the Void Glitch.

I don´t blame the lag… cause I don´t have it… my internet connection is 2mb, and I don´t have lag even on Gears of War 2 (famous for the lag).

I don't know then, thats what it was for me, It happened a few times and I figured out it happens when my sister conencts her laptop to the internet.

I did your suggestion NewRecruit and it doesnt work mate. Not on mine anyway. I am getting really angry at the game, keeps freezing in the cemetary level when Venkman bursts through the wall after you move the giant boulder. I am going to take my copy back tommorow to exchange it. If it does it again (which I got a feeling it will) then I will just keep it.

The makers of the game should be ashamed and disgraced at how many errors they have in this otherwise fantastic game. I will not buy another game from them

I just emailed atari support and gave them all the information about how the PS2 game is faulty. I was talking to a friend of mine on MSN who has exchanged it 6 times in a week and has now given up on the game and got his money back. Which I dont blame him. I am devastated that such a great game could be made this bad by so many errors and have all same problems on each system it has been released
