I've just been reading on Yahoo that Sigourney Weaver will be in the new movie, obviously reprising her role as Dana Barrett.

There was also a little snippet of an interview with Dan Aykroyd with him mentioning new characters and a new team of Ghostbusters.

I can't wait till this movie comes out, I'm so excited. God I'm like a child…..oh well!

As always, employ caution. Only yesterday IMDb had a “article” saying Aykroyd was pursuing Weaver to have her in a next instalment, and went on to feature a somewhat butchered* quote from his appearance in that IGN video with Greg Miller.

* They managed to spell “Cyclotron”, psychotron. (*egon)

I did see that this morning when I went on IMDB after I posted on here but hopefully all will be well and all the good rumours will be true!

It''s sad when you get your hopes up for something and then it turns out not to be!

I don't think we'll be disappointed though, well I hope not.

Bad idea.even if it's just a rumor, i think the new movie needs to go in a new direction and stay away from being centered around Dana/peter. unless it's got something to do with Vigo/Gozer, the new team needs to focus on something else rather than rehashing Dana Barrett.
