Stay Puft Daddy, unless you haven't already, you should submit some stuff for that position at 88 MPH, your stuff rocks. Oh, and that's a scene that shoulda been on BTTF 2

Sweet Monkey Jesus, that's like the coolest thing I've ever seen!

Okay, I was exaggerating a little, but that's still sweet as Hell.

Those are great sequential, dynamic is good, tigh pencils, the only thing I would consider siggesting is composition (more solid blacks) and anotomy, keep up the killer work

Thanks all! I'm glad you think so highly of my drawings. I appreciate it!

Kingpin,

I submitted this to 88mph lastnight.

RD,

What exactly do you mean by “more solid blacks”?

Stay-Puft, yours is the best, so far.

And RD, stop bashing other members.

Dr. Riddle
And RD, stop bashing other members.

He wasn't “bashing”…the exact opposite, actually.

I'm not sure why he's asking for more solids either, as these are pencils, and that's more of an inker job. But the pencils are so damn good, they LOOK inked. The only other thing he mentioned was to pay attention to his anatomy…I'm guessing faces in particular.

Faces are horribly difficult to draw…and the first time I saw Stay-Puft Daddy's art, they were the thing that drew me out of it. But the more I look at it, the more the faces work for me…they've got a “cartoony” look to them that, once you remember that even Michael J. Fox doesn't look like Marty from BttF anymore, looks pretty damn good.

There's nothing wrong with some constructive criticism…

Personally though…I think that if Stay-Puft Daddy doesn't get to do some GB work, then it should only be because 88MPH is working ongetting a BttF license too. He makes excellent use of the panels to progress the story, his linework is solid…backgrounds are a little sparse…but based on the posts, I get the impression that these were done over the span of a couple of days, so I'd say that's MORE than forgiveable.

Excellent work, sir…did you write the story bit too, or did you snag it from somewhere?

Ben said that the scene in Stay-Puft's comic was deleted from BTTF Part II. Is 88mph Studios really working on getting a license for a BTTF Comic? That would be so cool. Then another one of my favorite franchises would be getting a revival (And eventually new T.V. Series that isn't so kiddie.). But I seriously think that if BTTF is revived, that is should presently take place in the timeframe of the movies. Such as 1985 being the year that 17-year-old Marty McFly goes back to 1955, etc. It wouldn't make all that much since to move that “foward” to the 2000's, unless Marty and Jennifer are already married with Marlene and Marty Jr. Time is exactly what BTTF is about. And we've been wating years for a BTTF Action Figure/Vehicle/Playset line. That would be worth the wait if it was high quality.
