I used to love that show, but never followed it to the end. I'm guessing it got cancelled with no real ending?

The trailer brought back memories of my childhood, which can only be a good thing. I'm looking forwad to this…

Rainmaker is the descendant of what was Mainframe Entertrainment, so I believe these movies are also being produced in Canada.

That's correct. Series III was successfullly resolved, bar the new thread of Daemon. She was dealt with, including a few other issues over a series of two made-for-TV ReBoot movies. The second TV movie dealt with the sudden appearance of a non-web corroded Bob, bringing questions as to the web corroded Bob's identity. This then led to a character returning, only to end on a unresolved cliffhanger.

A cliffhanger completed by the webcomic, but I found that, and Season IV to be rather unsatisfactory.
