Printable Proton Pack & other Ghostbuster Equipment

If anyone is still interested, I started a little “revision” of the printed proton pack. I've change the color to a traditional black style, and added some color to a few missing things. Still small though lol, but looks more like it does on the show I think.

Note, that's only a sample of what it might look like completed. You don't actually print that off and say it's a pack lol, there are more templates.

Also, weird request, but does anyone have a scan of the Ghostbusters ID card that came with The Real Ghostbusters Proton Pack toy?

Don't know if you guys still care, but I started a movie version of the proton pack. I'm sill thinking of if I can add any more details, but here's a mock up of the template.

I also did the gun. Unfortunately, its the same “square shape” as the RGB gun but the designs look pretty close to the movie.

Anyway, any comments? Remember, it's still kind of a work in progress. What do you think so far?

To the original poster….thats pretty cool, like Ghostbuster origami.

Also I had never seen that Ecto-1 paper model…man that thing is awesome…so detailed, and to think its made of paper….but a few things on the roof were plastic right?

Update. In case anyone cared lol, I finally got around to making a movie version proton pack. I didn't print it in color, because I wanted save ink, so there is more color than what is shown. Note, this is a prototype. The designs aren't exactly finalized, in fact, I'm trying to make them more accurate at the moment.

I encountered a few problems which I fixed. Any, this will you an idea of what it looks like…minus the color unfortunately. And yeah, I know, I messed up on the circle base thing. Too much glue lol.

Here's a sample of the pack template in color. Note, this is only a GUIDE, I didn't print this to make that lol.

Pack updated! New things added, and a few designs changed. Note, I took the lazy way out and just pasted the new things over the old prototype, so some of the crappy things I changed in the template files remain in the crappy prototype.

Also, a prototype PKE Meter.

Updated again, in case anyone cares, with a 3D crank knob and a crappy ion arm that didn't go too well. I'm also working to add an ion knob.

Another Update! Sort of anyway. Filled in the gap area for the crank knob, and updated the cyclotron design. The band around the cyclotron has also been updated to look more accurate.

Comments anyone? BTW, I hope I'm not breaking any rules with my multiple posts in a row it's just that no is replying. (;_

i like it…keep going, i'd love to get a copy of the printable stuff when you're done! just something to keep me occupied over the christmas period! looking good, just keep adding different “sticky out” bits so that it fleshes the pack out, we could have a paper pack for those of us who really can't be bothered shelling out and working on a pack. (Although I really do wanna do that when my cash situation is better!)

Thanks.

I'm still kind if thinking what can I make “stick out”. Problem is if I keep adding stuff, I'm worried it'll over complicate the building process.

Right now, I'm trying to add in/change designs to make it more movie accurate.

Well, here's my prototype movie accurate gun. The pics are kind of crappy though lol.

Still tweaking a few things, but this is my result.
