Ok, tried to work over some screenshots to give you an impression what I was thinking of… own paintings to come this week I hope.
Grid City Alpa 01 - New York:
Just to give you an idea
Nothing more.
The different Grid Cities are protected via a special protonic network that is hanging over the city, feeded with energy from a fusion generator on the inside.
It works like the old containment unit in Ghostbusters I and II, only that now it doesn't keep ghosts trapped in the inside, it keeps them on the outside

With all of that negative PK energy…wouldn't the remains of Staypuft get sorta reanimated…
Like shooting electricity through Frankenstein so to speak..

Nice very nice here is a thought i like to throw out there i think that egon would make a great surviver image this a battle beaten egon missing a eye and full of anger because of the lost of his fellow ghostbusters and He feels its all his fault for suggesting they cross the streams. Now he sends his days working on a way to reverse what he has done and spends his night having nightmares of the that day that Gozer won.
