For those of you who have built a proton pack:

which parts are the hardest to find/make and/or the most expensive. Also, what was the hardest part about your project.

Easy

Hardest to make: Spacer (you can buy them for about $30 dollars), and Gun(you can buy them for about $350 dollars).

Hardest to find: Unless you are living in a different country, almost everything is being sold online. Check ASAP.

Most Expensive: Well, that really depends. Some things are worth the money such as Glim's powercell light board for $115 dollars. But other things like Clippards are expensive at $22 dollars each (you can buy replicas at $15 dollars for 2.)

After building numerous packs, I still struggle a little with the Proton Gun assembly.

I've never bought any parts on-line and the hardest for me to find were the colored ribbon cable(now I know where to find tons of it) the clippard parts,(travel size Head and Shoulders bottles can be cut and painted to look asonishingly real) and the crank knob was kinda hard. If you order on-line then you won't have hardley any problems at all. smile
