Yeah, I was wondering if anybody has an audio clip of this sound?
I'm specifically looking for the proton blaster sound effect from Ghostbusters 1…………………
It was the first ever time they tested their proton packs out, where the turnt around suddenly, thinking they were blasting Slimer, BUT ACCIDENTLY BLEW UP THE BLACK CLEANING WOMAN'S CART!!!!!
I wasnted the blast from that scene because there is no music invloved.
The reason for this is that at my school, in my T.V. Production class, My friend and I made a Ghostbusters knock off film, illustrating us as the Ghostbusters, and I needed a clear proton blast sound effect!
I found a small clip from an old THE REAL GHOSTBUSTERS tape, but the slip wasnt long enough before the music or dialogue cut in!
IF ANYBODY HAS THAT CLIP, I WOULD BE REALLY THANKFUL!

If you haven't found one yet, I can make one from my DVD. It won't have 100% sound quality like some people's sounds, but it should be OK. If you want it, drop me an eMail at: RichardDawsonFan@aol.com and I'll make it.
I imagine it'll sound better than the ones I have of Ecto since there always seems to be music playing over the siren.

LOL, thanks. I was gonna make myself a new eMail, but everything comes to this one and I can't afford to get rid of it.
The Running Man was a cool movie. The guy with the flame thrower could pass as a Ghostbuster with that pack. Haha!

You can send me more? I need some when they turn on the guns… in the movie you here it very good and clearly when they turn them up, no talking and shouting
could you record this and send me too? and a few other scenes when the shoot with the guns? There are scenes that are more clearly:
- Ray tries to catch slimer for first time
- when they shoot the first time in the baalroom
