Well, whatever, it still sucks that Sony can't even say who they might be looking at as prospective publishers. Honestly, if something hasn't been said by the time the game's original release date comes around, I'll have to say it'd be time to start worrying.

In typical transactions, most parties agree to not disclose any names until an official announce date. Breach of this can constitute a nullification of the contract as well as damages in a Court of Law.

It's all a matter of how companies work. I would also imagine that Activision has a retainment peroid wherein they can decide to pick the game back up, which Sony may be waiting for to expire.

There are reasons behind these things. You think of it far too simply. A company is firstly responsible to it's investors. That means any pickup, such as Ghostbusters, has to be cleared through several boards before it is finalized. This can take time, especially when the lawyers get involved. If Company X was revealed to be the new publisher before a deal had been signed, they could very well get negative reaction from their investors and pull out of the agreement right then and there - then your precicous little game would never be published by that company and the process begins again.

As far as Activision dropping it, while they published old games. Last I checked, the Executive Board has changed quite a bit. Stop trying to judge Activision as a single entity rather than a board of directors, because it's not a single cohesive mind.

Oh, I'm not blaming just one person at Activision, but whoever made that decision, single person or multiple people can still stick it, and I will never buy another Activision product as long as I live for what they've done.

And it still sucks, as I said, if we don't hear anything by the game's original release date, I think it'd be time to start worrying.

Activision owns Terminal Reality.

Terminal Reality developed the game.

You will either not buy the game, or you will buy future Activision products.

I also hate to break it to you, but we could all pretty much decide to not buy Activision products and it wouldn't make a dent in their bottom lines. Blizzard alone makes more money off one game than we could ever damage them with.

Funny, I thought Activision brought Sierra, the other company that was going to publish the game, not Terminal Reality, the game's developer, but it doesn't matter, and I know that World of Warcrack is making more money then Activision can handle, but that doesn't mean that I have to buy Activision products, and I won't given how Activision just flat out dropped the game.

So no, Ghostbusters is a Terminal Reality game, not an Activision game.

Dude, seriously… grow up. If you're actually 27 as you claim (which I doubt given your insistance of referring to things with “clever” nicknames like SuckURom and World of Warcrack), I suggest its time you started getting a grip on the real world. Seriously. You've had tons of people explain to you how these things work, and you still maintain your argument of “They mean. They suck. They take away my game and make me sad. I no like them anymore. I'm telling!”

Come on, dude. Either grow up, or at least shut up. You made your point that you hate Activision. Let it the f go, already.

And how about you mind your own damn business, yeah, you explained, but that doesn't mean how I have to accept it, not only that, but I will never call SecuRom by its real name due to it being a piece of shit, and as for WoW, don't even get me started there.

You're on a message board. Whatever you're posting becomes everyone's business. If you don't want to be made fun of or ridiculed for your insanely asinine and childish remarks, then don't post them. Plain and simple.
