No one expects anyone to be happy about it, but quite honestly how many times can you reiterate the same message that you have been for the past few weeks?

I think we get your point by now. You think Activision is stupid for this. You think the delay is bad. You are unhappy.

Yes, pretty much that, and I'm glad that Terminal Reality is self owned, cause, well, I've said it over and over again and don't want to say it anymore about what I think about Activision, but Terminal Reality and the new publisher, those are the ones I plan on supporting, ugh, when Sony ever mentions who the new publisher is.

Yeah, you just think I'm supposed to be happy that Activision made a huge delay for something that I was quite looking forward to, and again, I'll say it, a 2 to 3 month delay would've been fine, but an 8 to 9 month delay is just bad, very bad.

Yes, there are delays, but that one particular game has been delayed for like, forever, and quite frankly, I don't want to see that happen to this game as well.

For the love of God are you even reading what I'm saying?

I NEVER said you should be happy about it. Not once.

I NEVER said I'm happy about it. Not once.

I DID say that you're constant repetitive bitching without adding anything new to the conversation is irrational, immature, and annoying.

You named ONE game that has been delayed for forever. ONE game. Out of how many games that have ever been delayed? Going on a 1% chance that that happens to this game, and running with it and complaining and whining as if its likely that that will happen in the case is ridiculous.

Seriously man, just stop saying the same thing over and over again, and please start reading what I'm saying. If you really are 27 you should be adult enough to carry on a conversation without trying to twist someone's words around (i.e. saying I said you should be happy about the delay).

*Shrugs* You never know, there could always be the off chance that something very well could happen that could cause the game to get indefinitely delayed. It is rare, but as I said, you never know, especially with as long a delay as this games facing. Though since a Terminal Reality person is hanging around the forums, at least he'd probably be the one to inform if something like that happened.

Of course, the ball rest with Sony being able to find a new publisher, hopefully a decent one, so, I don't doubt Terminal Reality's developing the game, but Sony not being able to find a publisher is the thing that worries me the most.

I really think all of you need to shut up. You are all behaving like children and I think you two need a time out from the internet.

Docter Venkman, yelling at him is not going to make him stop. In fact you are only fueling the fire not extinguishing it. It doesn't help when all you do is fight with someone. If he is 27, and you argue with him who is more immature? Don't try to argue with idiots, they just bring you down to their level and beat you with experience. (no offense Johnathan, just something my mother told me)

Johnathan, we know you are angry. In fact, all of us are, but some of us rather not worry about it too much because it is not worth it. Like I said, it is NOT going to make the game come out any quicker, it is NOT going to make Sony do anything, and it is NOT going to give us a demo. I understand why you want to post, but I don't condone it. I know talking about it helps one vent anger, but how many times can you say one sentence? I mean more or less like everyone else has said you have been saying the same things over and over again. Stop, alright? Please? I understand, but you don't need to keep beating the dead horse.

You are both right and you are both wrong at the same time. We all can voice our opinions, but when does it become more whining than actual debate? I am not going to worry about it because I am so deep in school work and my job that I don;t have time to worry and if I did it would only make my life more stressful. I am only 22 years old and while I am still “young” I know where the line is drawn between a good discussion and a ridiculous riot.

9 months is a long time, I know, but I can't change that fact. All I know is is that the game will come out eventually and I take that to heart knowing that my patience will be rewarded. I have other games to keep me sane like Fable 2 coming out, Gears of War 2 and Project Origin.

For the sake of this forum and for both your healths, stop the fighting….it doesn't help anything at all and while I respect both of you I feel this bickering is making you both seem less mature than you really are. You both lose so much just because of a stupid argument and people tend to less respect you from the arguments. I know because I lost so many friends that way.

Keep it clean and if you must post try to do something that contributes to the forum instead of wasting everyone's time.

Had Scott not posted what he'd said, I would've wound up saying something similar. In the past couple of days two to three whole pages have been generated from the circular discussion and you know when it's getting like that then the people involved need to step back and look at it from a different perspective.

Anyway, we have the hope of a game announcement in the not too distant future that'll reveal the new publisher, so we have that to look forward to.

Beyond that, there's the comic and manga out next month, and the Real Ghostbusters DVDs in a little over two months…

These are the points I was trying to make fellas. I just stick to my guns a bit more and don't like it when people ignore what I'm saying. That was my point. No worries, though. Hopefully he'll stop and then I won't need to feel the need to post in response to him either.

Well…………………. When does anyone think we'll here somethin?

I mean i know protoncharging said within 2 weeks, but they did say “might hear something in two weeks”.

Main word being MIGHT. So does anyone think we'll hear something by the end of September?

well. hopefully by the oct 21'st date we will know some new info. Lets be honest there. Then again, on the duel side of that coin, inless i missed it, theres no real offical word from activion what so ever that its indeed delayed. I dont recall any press release or anything saying exactley just that, just that it needs a new publisher.

My deal now is, when ever we get it, we'll get it. No point in waiting endlessly, expecting some religious like event with the game, only to be disapointed.

This was proven to me this week. I waited months for the force unleashed, got it, played through it in one night, set it down. I liked it, it was fun, but at the end of the day, it was just a good video game with a great storyline.

Ghostbusters might be the same thing. Who knows? We all might get it launch day, beat in in the first 24 hours, and then, we're right back to were we were before the game even came out!

So, if the events of the past week taught me anything, it taught me, it is what it is, except it for what it is and just be happy.

Yes id love to play the game next month like i was told id be able to do. But, its very likely i will have to wait a bit longer. Am i angry, yea, i am. But so what. It will eventuley get here.

Yes, im also aware i was calling out a war cry not to long ago. And rightfully so. In fact, part of me still wants to do so, but whats the real point? Put all that time, energy and effort into being angry, anoyed, and then at the end of the day, u end up in the same place as u started, and for what? a video game got delayed? Big deal. It will be here when its ment to be out.

Personaly, im kinda hoping its in jan-march time frame. Makes somthing to look foward to durring those long borning months. Also gives me a bit more time to get a decent job and be better able to save up and buy this stuff and enjoy it more.

I was going to post something yesterday, before this “ended” but I didn't. The fighting is stupid, no offense guys. Doctor V., you points are fine, but you are not the end all be all of opinoins on interent. Same goes for the other guys. Like said above: you guys were all right AND all wrong at the same time. Some points from all of you, were dead on, and others off, WAY off.

The main discussion, I think I followed it till it broke down, was Fans vs. Game Companies. Well sorry to the main two fighting over this, you both are wrong. Game Companies and other companies with a fanbase MUST respect and do owe fans a little, NOT everything though. At the same time, fans OWE the companies respect, and NOT ask for everything in the world and have it all done the exact way they want. So the relationship is 50/50, that is way it is in life. Fans make a company, yes, but a company makes fans. With no respect going both ways, it breaks down. Doctor V. my friend, you kept saying “it is business”, well that worked for a while for a company, call Microsoft, till they released Vista and look now: they didn't respect their users, put a piece of sh*t OS out and ALREADY Windows 7 is about to be in beta, because they didn't respect the users/customers and provide a great OS; they just released something to make money.

Activision DOES owe us something, but not everything. They should have taken the time ti hand off games to other publishers and not leave them hanging, BUT, those fans that think we are owed everything, sorry! Even if they did this, Activision would be attacked by fans, saying “They OWE us more!”. No, they owe you the 50% you deserve, and the respect.

I am not trying to be smart, but come on guys, lets just back up and think about things. Lets all RESPECT each other, and act mature. These are the facts:

1) The game is delayed. Get over it.
2) It WILL come in 2009. Get over it.
3) Bitching at Activision now is pointless. Get over it.

Move past this and look at the positives in that we DO have a game and DO have RGB collection coming. Just lets be happy it wasn't canceled.

This has deviated too far away from the original subject anyway. Theres no need for this to continue, I'm locking it.

Let's try and keep the other threads clear of pointless bickering like this. I know it's difficult for all of us to do some times, but we can at least try and remain civil.
