It probably helped a lot that the guy specifically said they would be using the time to work on the game, because whilst a lot of fans were hoping for it there was no guarentee because of the cash, but if Sony and co are willing to shell out more dosh for the team to work with then it shows they're willing to help make a already worthwhile product be able to include things they may not have been able to finish in time for the old deadline.

I think we should get some kind of pre-order bonus from Gamestop when the game is finally released, maybe a Slimer action figure or something :-).

“Well, better late than never.”

I just hope it is early 2009 and not late 2009. I also hope the delay is for aesthetic reasons and not “So we can release it with with the 25th anniversary.”

I am glad we finally got a publisher and I am glad that the game is still coming out.

I might be stretching it, but now I want to see COMMERCIALS!, promo items, and a lot more media for this game. Can't wait.

The game was never gonna be canceled, so we didn't have to worry about that part. It was just a matter of when it comes out, and who will publish it.

Now all we have have to do is hope it's not coming LATE next year.

Hey after all the shit these publishers keep doing you never know what the hell they are going to do next.

In the end, nothing is written in stone. Nothing is 100% sure what will happen.

How come everyone spells “Cancelled” with one “L” when in my dictionary spells it with two “Ls”

I really want to drive the Ecto-1 in the game instead of just appearing at a mission but that probably won't happen. Imagine being able to drive the car to every mission with the sirens blaring.

According to my Firefox spell check, it's one “L”. I don't know, I guess it's like “color” the US way and “colour” the Canadian way.

Online multiplayer where you can actually play as the four main ghostbusters was already confirmed by the developer in many interviews.

they said that you would get assignments at the fire house from janine and then go out bust ghosts online with friends.
