Proton gun kit

I found this while googleing around. I don't know if it's screen accurate, but it looks pretty good.

Colin's wares are excellent, and extremely popular… but why did you post this in the Fan Project section? This part of the forum is for showcasing the stuff they've made (which can include the resin prop kits), but this is more akin to a promotional message.

I put it here because I thought that people would look in here to see what people were building, and they might think ‘I’d like to do this' so there's a link to get them some parts to get them started.

What thread should I have posted it in?

In this particular example, for something to see I feel it would be better if you had started to build your own Proton Gun, rather than just link to an existing kit… as linking to the kit doesn't really encourage much longevity for the topic.

As for where to post this topic? Well, if Colin had posted it, then in the Marketplace… I'd probably still put it in the Marketplace as it isn't a Proton Gun build thread.

That's genius! I love dealing with multimediamayhem anyway. They're great. My biggest thing is… does it come with assembly instructions? I'm not all that handy. I might just get that and hope that someone's prop plans on the gbfans is close enough.

I'm not sure, but you can see where most of the parts go by looking at the pictures.

Familiarising yourself with the plans and reference photos that are online would remove any major confusion about what elements would go where.

I've been working on assembly instructions for the kit, they can be found here: http://www.multimediamayhem.net/gunkitassembly.htm

It's still a work in progress.

Yes I do ship overseas, there are two shipping options for gun kits 1. Airmail (no tracking) $50 or 2. Expresspost (with tracking) for approx. $88 both include insurance.

I don't do pack kits but I do sell most of the individual parts (no fiberglass shells) Go to www.multimediamayhem.net
