Proton Pack

A couple years ago, i found this site about a proton pack. It's not really a prop, rather how the pack works. It's four pages long and i haven't read the whole thing, but it looks like it's a thing about building a real proton pack.

Here's the link. Don't worry, i checked it to make sure it still works.

Why do i get the feeling that the news will be full of mass destruction from a particle thrower in the near future?

It was only a matter of time beofre some one decided to create, or scheme up a real particle thrower. I'm going to give all the info. on that web page to my A.P. Physics teacher and ask him if it's possible. I fell that he would be a good source of knowledge as he did built satellites for NASA. I'll report back with more information later

I know that Ectoman knows this, but did you all know that the Proton Pack featured in that article/research paper is one of Paranorman's FIRSST Proton packs?

I talked to both the Physics teachers in my school and they both said it could work. Only said that making it small enouhg to be a packpack wold be extremely hard, but a weapon in a truck, there would be no problem. The other teacher I talked to, the one that built Sattelites, he said that it is feasible, but making the beam with enough particles to do some damage will take a lot of time to figure out. He also said, that the military probably has played with idea already, and stumbled at the same problem he came across.
