I have all of the parts and accessories ready to put together my first proton pack but I need to acquire a mother board piece. Does any one know of a place where I can get one since I dont have the tools available to cut one. I've collected everything from various stores in the area and am just looking for a pre-cut mother board. Thanks in advance,

most radio shacks carry them, and if not you can just order one from them out of the catalouge. if radio shack cannot help you look up “electrical” in the phone book, eventually you'll find a section where the stores there - all they sell is components. but shop carefully for i have been screwed royally in that department once before, but if you just wanna chop a mother board goto a tv/vcr repair shop. they'll most likely just give it to ya.smile hope that i helped a little.
im gone.

Actually I was talking about the the “main” piece of the pack that attaches to the alice frame. Where you mount the cyclotron and everything else to. That is what I was trying to find pre-cut because I dont have the tools to cut it down. Thanks for the help though! Fire Any further help with me finding a precut board is much appreciated! smile

Fire,

You can easily acquire the tools to cut the motherboard and the materials to cut it with. All you need is a pencil, a handsaw($30-40 for a cheap one and about $5 for blades) and a large piece of 1/4" Lauan Plywood to cut the motherboard from. Its really not that bad, and if you buy a big enough piece of wood you have plenty of room to make mistakes.
