too expansive!!!!!
i mean 200 euros is the absolutly PAINLEVEL and an additional 85 euros shipping and only paypal! way to much!
then i prefer doing it compleatly on my own for the same money! (or less)

Unfortunately that's how things break down, often effort and production costs are worked into the final total, and often proppers don't make much of a profit.

What's the point of doing it on your own if the outcome has the same amount? You might not even get it accurate if you do it on your own. You're saying it's too expensive? That's how much they cost, and the prop maker might not even make good profit from selling that shell, and sometime they end up loosing more then they make.

I don't mean to be offensive here, but it seems like you don't have much of knowledge of how prop making works, or how expensive it is. That shell right now is the standard price for what they go for, and it was already a pain for the guy to make it. Did you even check gbfans for the individual parts?

Making a pack isn't cheap, especially if you're asking for a shell, or resin parts. Now I have already pointed out that there are cheaper ways to do this, and but they would involve making the parts from scratch. There are plans on gbfans that can help you with this.

GO AND LOOK! And it's always going to be expensive, especially dealing with a proton pack, but it can be cheaper depending on what you use to make it, and how you make it.

i think i should build my first one compleatly on my own and then i should think of what i would get for it befor i say that shell is expansive, if u know what i mean!
i forgot that this is a hand crafted part and the guy was a beginner too!
so i end this thread and open a new one where we can have a look on my progress building it!

Who said it was gonna be a Proton Pack? I doubt it would be a pack, as it would extremely expensive and hard to produce in mass quantities. Besides that, he already said he didn't want to pay for a completed Pack as it would be expensive. However constructing one and getting the parts is probably going to be just as expensive. If I had the money, I would just buy one and save me the trouble.

You DO realize that I posted this BEFORE that announcement right? So really correcting me or quoting that makes no difference since I said that before any of this information was given. Trying to correct me wrong now wouldn't make any sense unless I said it after that announcement was made, and this topic remained inactive for a while now.

But, I specifically remember reading that on 10-31, HALLOWEEN!!

but i think it is time to think of making the electronics now!
are there any plans and material list on the web (or even here on this site)?
i know how to do the red cyclotron lights but i dont know how to do the blue powercell lights!
i mean is there any name of that up movement function?
(for example the knightrider light is called “larson scanner”!)
and how to do the sounds?
i know there is a site were i can buy the whole show for nearly 250 bugs but i made the pack all by my own and i dont want to start buying things now, o.k.! hope u understand me.
it would be cool if i can get some infos!
