me and a freind of mine are planning to make an actuall working Proton Pack, my friend is working on formulas and equations to create the plasma beam and hopefully it will be a success.

I don't know if this meant to be a joke or what.

If you were just saying that you going to do something that have similar effect, people done it using silly string before.

I even heard someone going to try to make it so it shots out alcohol.

In Jack Black upcoming new movie, there was talk about him using a vacuum cleaner and put it in reverse.

I have seen someone just use lights to have similar effect. It probably will work if you have a fog machine near by.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that you can't make a real proton pack. It is a nuclear accelerator. I can understand a prop, but come on man, it's just a movie. (*egon)

Indeed. We've had a number of people come along in the past claiming they have either the plans, or a working prototype for a real Proton Pack.

One apparently used a coke bottle.


So far, none of these have yeilded any true result… and while I do wish to think about this positively, I also feel in my heart that were the technology possible it likely won't be invented by a member of this message board… given the implications. Especially when ghosts are still to be proven scientifically.


I'm going to lock this now, if anyone feels they have a reason for its unlocking then please PM me or one of the other Mod staff… but I'm doubtful it'll be unlocked.
