The fan forums are the wrong market to try sell a Proton Pack for $3000, as I personally feel that's too much of an asking price (only one of the signatures is actually someone who was a prominent actor from the films).

Thank you for a reply

But I would rather offer it to someone in the community than the average joe.

And all 4 played prominent roles in the movie

You can't call a stuntman a “prominent role”.

Listen I know what you are trying to do and its not going to work.

I look at it a different way and view all them the same.

Are they as big as ernie hudson no. But they still play important roles.

So Back to the main reason I started this thread.

If anyone is interested please shoot me a pm

Will take best offer and even throw in some goodies to sweeten the deal.

“Trying to do?”

I'm not trying to get you to mark the price down, if that's what you were thinking.

I've simply remarked on the fact that you aren't going to see a lot of interest in the Pack at the current asking price, the marketplace on this forum isn't that frequented enough, and that the autographs of a stuntman, and two actors whose roles didn't allow their faces to appear on screen aren't the same category as one of the principal cast.

I can see your point but it seems that you are taking the attention away from the reason I started this thread. If you not interested in this pack then why post in this thread. To point out oh 3 signatures mean nothing is pointless.

So if you have nothing positive to say about the pack and its signatures then step aside.

If you not interested in this pack then why post in this thread.

Because it's a public forum and I'm allowed to voice my opinion.

So if you have nothing positive to say about the pack and its signatures then step aside.

I haven't said anything negative about the Pack, I may have questioned the value of the signatures, but I haven't said one negative thing about it. It's a nice looking Pack.

And as an aside, mind telling a moderator what to do, it isn't going to bring about a positive reaction.

As for the price yes a little high but take in consideration I had to travel over 1250 miles to get those signatures.

This actually brings up a case we had some time back on GBFans. A member was wanting to sell at least one of the 12 inch Mattel figures as I recall, and he'd included the costs of entry ticket to San Diego Comic Con, and I believe some of the mileage into the asking price.

The feeling with both the Administration Staff and the public forum-goers was that the member should not be using the sale to try reimburse his wallet for those two spenditures. It was his own decision to go to SDCC because he wanted to, not because he was strictly doing it so he could pick up those figures.

Likewise, you went to those signing events because you wanted to, and it is not fair to ask the buyer of your Proton Pack to effectively cover the costs of your travel, as you made that concious decision, and you presumably had no intention of selling the Pack.

I'll postface this again by saying I'm not interested in bringing the price down so I can buy it. I have my own Proton Pack which I'm happy with, but you have to be realistic in your asking price.
