Anyway, wasn't Sierra originally going to publish Ghostbusters before it was bought by Activision, right?

As far as we know, Activision is not going to publish the game (unless the 5th “not yet announced” game is, in fact, GB the game). But, is there any reason why Sierra or Vivendi can't still publish the game and release when they originally said they would release it?

Granted, no announcements have been made, but couldn't Sierra maybe feel they don't need to make any announcements since they've been planning on publishing the game all along and nothings changed?

Seirra was already a property of Blizzard as was Vivendi. Then Activision and Blizzard Merged into the Megazord of Computer gaming. I am sure I will be corrected but I believe Actiblizzard decided to shut down Seirra and Vivendi.
