Question about toy value.

I have a Ghostbusters Dodge in the Dark (projector) toy in it's original box.. used it when I was a kid, from what I know it still works. Anyways, I'm just interested to see what one of these is usually valued at, seeing as I might have to sell it sometime, even if I don't want too. :-(

I've looked for websites and price guides, but can't seem to find one with this info.. so I found this website, seen it mentioned here a few times.. so I figured if anyone knows, it might be someone here.. thank you.

If you've ever taken it out of the box, would you mind making a Youtube video of it? I'd love to see how it works. As for the value, I'm not sure.

I don't have a video camera so I can't make youtube videos, unfortunately. I could possibly take some photos though, I have a good digital camera.. I'm going to go dig it out of the closet and check it out.. so if anything I'll have some pictures of it to show you sometime here in the next 24 hours. (hopefully it still runs, not sure if it takes batteries or what I haven't looked at in probably 20 years)

Ok, so here's some photos.. apparently it doesn't, work. Not sure why.. it takes D batteries, the ones I have don't seem to make it run.. it seems very fragile, my Dad said that it has always been kind of shoddy.. but he's taken very good care of it, there's no corrosion or anything where the batteries are placed. I'm guessing that the motor has just run it's course.. no other explanation for it.. but anyways, the way it works..

You place the wheel with the ghosts/monsters inside of the projector, and it spins.. you just aim at the wall and it projects, basically it just runs the same thing over and over again, the point is to turn the knob on the device and avoid hitting walls and ghosts. You have a little scale where you can marks points. Not sure what they count as points, since it has no instruction book.

As you can see from the pics, it's in real good conditon (aside from not working..) There are no scratches on it, all stickers are intact and unscathed, the box has a little wear.. and there are a few of the ghost/creature plastic pieces from the projector wheel missing, fortunately Stay-Puffed and Slimer are still there, made sure they were in the picture.. they fall out kind of easy, very flimsy, no surprise that some are missing. So yah, that's that.. hopefully someone can let me know what it might be worth.. if not, oh well. Enjoy the pictures.

I've always thought it looks kind of like the device that Peter gives Kenny in the episode Masquerade.
