I have to agree with Mr. Tully in saying the old packs are more reliable. Generally I don't see what the hell the writers were thinking. Ectoplasm is Ectoplasm. We don't destroy the ghosts, we don't need a higher concentration of Protons to hold a ghost. And plus having to change the cartrage is pointless. If you have strong ghosts who somehow or in someway avoid your proton streams or won't stay in the trap, you need a new trap, that or recharge your old one.
If all else fails then man, you aren't trying hard enough. We don't need a dome trap that doesn't roll, if you overshoot your target then you can't just tug on the cord to bring it back, it'll break the cord. stick to the old ones, they may not look mo… wait a minute… how do they look modern… the old ones looked futuristic… Now I'm mad.
