we just preffered the timeless look of the original movie to the easily dated look in the sequel.

Interesting, I would say it's the other way around… with the exception of Janine's outfit/hair in Ghostbusters II I'd say it's actually Ghostbusters that dates less well with all the 80s clothes and so on.

But I do like Winston's first film look better.

I like Ernie Hudson's looks in GB1. In GB2, he looks like the guy from the Sprite commercials of the 90s.

He looks better.

It could've been a lot worse in the clothing & hairstyle areas. I found the original a moderate example of eighties attire. For more radical examples of eighties era, just look at The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai & The Lost Boys; both quirky, good films in their own right, but are dated severely by the big shoulder pads & super sized hair.

While I also do prefer Winstons look in the 1st movie, the first movie still dates way more than the second. Just look. For the most part, GB2 looks/style wise, could still fit in with today. The first not so much.

Maybe, but I think fan wide everyone likes the look from the first movie.

The customer is always right.

I personally like him in his first appearance in the franchise. In the first movie he looked distinguished…like a man who had seen a lot and done a lot…just not in the same manner as the Ghostbusters. While in the second movie he looked young and in my opinion too…cartoonish (I am looking at you ghost train sequence)

I loled, but yeah, I like the way Ernie looks in the first film compared to the second film, and yes, I did like the second film, not sure why it gets ragged on so much.

I guess im taking this game too serious as the 3rd movie cuz i would more like him to be somewhat like the Ghostbusters II look…

Yea i like how he looked in the first film but that was 1984…the game is in 1991…so i dont know…very small thing but its just preference for the game…
