Clicky Me.

Poor Caddy. I can afford it too. I live there too.

Very, very tempted. However the Restoration work would probably cost Thousands.

Oh so very tempted…

Edit:
This'd work for someones set o' Proton Packs. Just tossing it in there.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions. If you're looking for an MM hearse or hearse/ambulance for an Ecto replica the 1964 model year is far too gone from the “original.” Going from memory, the front (lights? and grill) and of course the fins became smaller beginning with the 1960 model.

If I was ready to buy an MM, if I couldn't find a ‘59, I’d look for model years 59-62. Maybe a ‘58.

I will give you the price for the auction you posted isn’t bad, it would cost some serious dough to restore her. And stating the obvious more money if you want “ectofication.”

Wow, only $500. But it's in pretty bad condition, like you said, would cost thousands to clean that baby up. And as Spengs said, the biggest difference is the fins. They're pretty small. Would be better if could could find a more precise model but if not then that would do with a few adjustments.

Edit: It doesn't run, you'll need a new transmission. A new paint job for interior and exterior, a new hood, a new floor board, new windows, as well as a change of seats. You're looking at thousands upon thousands. I'd look for a closer model first.

Miller Meteor kept the same coach style from 1958-1963. Just like Spengs said Cadillac really went down hill in style after 1959. Bascily the fins got smaller, the sides of the cars went flat, the front end grill was ugly on top of that no more curved glass. Just keep looking but remember the older the professional car the more rare and expensive they are to restore.

I wish I just had thousands to throw away on cleaning up an ecto.

Whoa whoa, I -know- It's the wrong year. Lmao.

Never seen so many people get around it; but seriously. What's the likelyhood of finding another 1958-1959 MM? Yeah, I saw a 1958 on eBay a while ago; it was in the same condition as that. I just wanted to post it to see what you guys thought about it.

I mean making an Ecto doesn't have to be PERFECT.

As long as I got an Ecto-Mobile of anykind, Hell; I'd be happy.

But I see your point. And if I had the money, I would definately restore this Caddy; Ecto-1 or not. It needs some love.

If I have the money, I will go for the 70's cars. I know it's not very accurate but I heard the parts are very hard and expensive to come by.
