I do.

I only have 1 figure I've never taken out of the package, and I'm still not sure why…

Zombie Spider-Man

all my Ghostbusters have been taken out and displayed proudley…and in many cases given photoshopped effects

Got mine today!! Here's a quickie photo…

I love them both, so don't get me wrong, but I do have a few minor complaints about the 12“ figure…

1. The batteries for the pack come pre-installed without a pull tab. There is no need for this, since the packaging doesn't have a ”try me" button. As far as I can tell, there's no way to remove the batteries without destroying the figure's packaging! So, will we have to worry about our MIB figures oozing battery acid several years from now?

2. The rod on the Ion Arm seems to be hard plastic, not a softer more flexible material. This part looks REALLY easy to break.

EDIT - Though, the more I think about it a softer material probably wouldn't stay nice and straight… And these are more like models than action figures, so there are going to be fragile bits. Just be careful around this particular part.

3. The TNTS review on Youtube said that the Ecto Goggles slide on easily, this is not the case with my figure. I had a really hard time getting the goggles on Ray, and when I finally got them in place I noticed that the straps were being stretched pretty tight (particularly around the connection points).

The stretching became even worse when I position the goggles on Ray's forehead (like in the movie). For now I think I'll leave them hanging on the handle to his trap for fear of breaking them.

4. Lastly, and this is a lot more nit-picky, you can't seem to disconnect the trap from it's pedal. So if you mount the trap on Ray's belt the cable and pedal just flop off to the side. The only solution I've found for this is to stick the Relay on the pedal through the loop on Ray's key chain.

As I said though, I totally love these figures!!(*peter)

I'm pretty dissapointed about the non resealable package, never occured that that was just a feature for the exclusive. I don't know whether to open him or not now. Really glad I didn't go for a 12" now if the packagings a problem as I'd have been gutted if the only way to remove the figure was to mess the box up.

I know it's probably not a big deal to most but I like to keep the packaging in order so I can put the figures back in. Not for re-sale as I usually remove any ties etc anyway so it's clear it's been opened, I just like the option for different display purposes and storage if ever required.

Still… can't wait to receive mine, the pictures taken make the figure look far better than even the prototype looked!

You wanna store it? Here's a big tip for ya: ziploc bags, and a $10 plastic tub/tote you can buy at Wal-Mart. Best part is you can fit a lot of ‘em in there; it’ll save you so much more room than any blister card ever will.

I prepared myself a little budget to how much to buy…

2x Winston 6“ : To have one loose trap
2x Peck 6” : To have one loose Containment Unit (to use the trap with)
2x Venkman 6" : One to display with the containment unit and trap

I'm going to buy one of each after that, to keep MOC.

This is my current strategy. Boy is this gonna get expensive.

I hear ya…hopefully I'll have a job by the time the next figures come out.

Got mine (two 6“ and one 12”) today…haven't tried to unpack the 12" figure yet as I'm trying to suss out a way of doing so without damaging the box.

I just got mine today. I haven't opened up the 6“ yet, but the 12” is pretty cool. Not that I plan to reseal it, but I managed to get it out of the package without doing much any permanent damage to the box; I only had to cut the plastic bits securing Ray(wirecutters for the metal/plastic string).
A few tips for those trying to cleanly get the “card” holding Ray out of the plastic box, is to just cut the little bits of tape on the very top of the box, then after you've opened the clear plastic cover on top, cut the few bits of tape holding the cardboard to the box(and make sure to pull out the cardboard flap at the bottom of the box; I forced this out accidentally, and made a small tear). I might use a razor blade to get the 6“ cleanly out of the package.

Here are a couple photos of the 12”:

And I was pleasantly surprised to find that the trap cartridge is removable. Unfortunately, the cord is still too dang short.

I'm about to try the razorblade trick (if I can find my exacto knife…my toolbox probably ate it), and maybe see if it's possible to swap cards/blister inserts with the SDCC packaging so as to have a resealable Ray box (no particular reason, I'm just more bored than usual).

I'm wondering… If the batteries don't have a pull-tab, then how am I supposed to keep the figure in the box ? I bought two ESPECIALLY because I wanted one to stay MIB…

What kind of batteries are in the pack, anyway ? Watch batteries ? Do they even leak ?

I think the battery is like the ones that are in wristwatches.
