Does anyone have any information they can provide about these? Any interest out there?

I remember having a pair of those years ago. While it was neat that they were licensed (and the frames glowed in the dark if I remember correctly), I couldn't really figure out a use for them.

Makes everything look green? That's the only use I can see for it, probably has crappy UV protection lol.

RE: Mega HD Man; GhbstrLMLIII

Those sunglasses are used for night driving. Apparently they can cut the glare off of headlights, streetlights, and other lights. I should know this; my dad wears 'em all the time.

You know what else? I actually have two pairs of those very glasses at home. The sticker from one of them used to adorn the back door of my ECTO-1A.

Actually, they provide better UV protection than you might think. Their yellow lenses filter out some of the harsher stuff given off by the sun, but your normal sunglasses with dark lenses also make bright days more pleasant.

Really??? I never would have guessed night-driving. (Of course I was no where near driving age at the time I had these). I'm certainly tempted to try that now if I can find where in the world they might be stored.

Don't worry too much. “Yellow-lens” glasses are a dime-a-dozen.
