Sorry. You need something poppy and up-beat that will appeal to just about everyone, and I can't see these guys delivering that…

:@ Ray Parker Jr. Is not dead! Wherever you heard that. It must have been a rumor. And a very bad one in fact. And as far as a new theme song. I don't care who sings it or who writes it. But they won't never find another theme song as good as Ray Parker Jr's GHOSTBUSTERS. hun you that posted this board. You should have went to www.imdb.com and looked him up. Because he is not dead. And no song will ever be able to replace Ray Parker Jr's Song. Because the song fits perfectly with the movies. And it would be insulting to me if he died and they didn't play it at the end or the begining of the credits. So no they don't need to create another song. for the opening credits or the ending. I thought Own Our on from Bobby Brown was a awsome song and the others. But as far as creating another song and not using Ray Parker Jr's Song. It just won't work! Leave everything the way it is. I would think that the cast would agree. And if you are a huge fan like me. You will understand where i'm coming from. It just wouldn't be Ghostbusters without his song!


And No offence but I do love all the music from both soundtracks. And i'm not saying they shouldn't make other songs. I'm just saying it would really would mess up the Ghostbusters franzice if they just made a third one and didn't include The Ghostbusters Song in it. Just because someone dies or if they die. Doesn't mean you got to drop there song or whatever. And move on to something else. John Lennon has been dead for 25 years and they still play his music on the radio.

But before posting messages like this. check with www.imdb.com because that site is a top site. And gives information about stars and movies. It also gives you infomation on movies long before they come to the threater.

You know what, the way the musical world is going and what's selling right now, there's no way the soundtrack wouldn't be an emo filled crapfest. Unlike the “popular” music of 1989, it will never be enjoyable, in any way.

Look at the transition from the music on Spider-Man's album to Spider-Man 2's album. I didn't even BUY Spider-Man 2's album. And my NAME'S Master Spider!!! MASTER SPIDER!!!!

The Darkness doing the GB song would be great.

I know if they ever make a new movie with new songs! I know it will be good. I just loved all the songs from part 2. It took me awhile to find it. But I did. And I surely enjoyed it. And I listen to it today often I like songs that's got good lyrics. Alot of people like the beat and the sound. Which is good too. But I also like to listen the lyrics. I write songs and Sing. You can show emotions and feelings when you sing.

I think the both soundtracks were really good Great Artists & Great writers and composers
