I recently sold one of my Ghostbusters trap kits to Crossarm-props-and-replicas on Ebay. The transaction went well and he paid right away and even bought some other non-GB pieces later that week. I assumed everything was ok until a few days ago when I was informed he was selling my trap pieces on his Ebay auctions. I immediately contacted him to inquire as to what was going on as it was evident to me that he had recast my resin parts and was trying to pass them off as his own.
How do I know they were mine? My trap kit has a specific knob on it that I created yet he tried to tell me he bought the knobs on GBfans which is impossible since I have never sold the knob to anyone, it is only available on the kit he bought from me. As well there is a slight flaw in my mold on the vector plate which also appeared on his parts.
He told me they were his parts made from his masters, I asked him to remove his auctions (which he did almost immediately) I asked him for pictures of his masters which he sent me (albeit incomplete pics) which look nothing like they would have been the masters for the parts he was selling. I sent him another email explaining WHY I thought the parts were cast from mine.When I asked him for “complete” master pictures he has since stopped communicating, I gave him until the end of the day to send the pictures. Nothing
Crossarm-props-and -replicas are recasters!
Although I cannot speak of other parts I know for a fact he recast mine.

Picture of my parts, I should probably mention I used laser cut aluminum plates for my cosmetic plating 1/16" thickness with precut holes for bolt positioning. Notice the four grooves on the round knob, position of the pointer and bolt and plate spacing.
