Okay, now i dont want to replace the old boys in gray, after all they are the reason why we fell in love with the series. But for the Hey of it, what new characters would you put in the movie?

My choices:
Dave Cross
Jack Black
Seth Green

Decisions, decisions….

Jack Black has too much energy and would distract from everyone else (he stole the show in “High Fidelity”). He's funny and all, but he'd just overshadow everyone else. David Cross could work, but just looking at him, you know he'd be typecast as the nerdy Egon-like character, so I don't think he'd do it because he wouldn't want to be typecast for the rest of his carreer. Seth Green… he's 31, so it'd sort of be hard for him to be a young character… if he was playing an older character. But I could see using him or Matthew Lillard for their comedic stylings.

Seeing how it's a dark comedy, I'd use young actors that know how to control their comedic outbursts, knows how to improv, and know when to be serious when needed. I'd choose Jake Gyllenhaal or Colin Hanks (seeing how Ramis has worked with him on “Orange County”).

You know, youth shouldn't be a determining factor in choice, look at the original fellas, they were all, let's say, not youthful when the first movie came out. And just because they would be a new character, or employee, doesn't necessarily mean a young one. Look at Winston, former military before he applied.
I was tinking Kevin Smith could do the job well. If he stayed away from Jay and Silent Bob, he might even make a good script for a third movie. Not that I hate Jay and Silent Bob, but that wouldn't work for the GB.

I think that they should work traditionally like the first film, putting together some of the best comedians around this time. As for Kevin Smith, I love his films hes one of my faves, but His films are mostly about Dialouge and he even admitted it himself that hes not that great of an actor, but I would still like him to take a crack at it, after all he is hillarious.

Brian Scolaro (FOX's “STACKED”)

Ioan Grffudd

Ryan Reynolds

Hell, if all else fails and these guys dont mkae it to GB3, they would'nt be bad for a remake… :-)

I would say:
(*egon) Egon Spengler- The guy who played Mr. Fantastic in the Fantastic 4 movie
(*ray) Ray Stantz- Jason Alexander
(*peter) Peter Venkman- Jack Black
Winston- Cuba Gooding Jr.
(*janine) Jennifer Aniston

I think Ryan Reynolds would be perfect for the part he's funny as hell and he can also be a bad@$$ when he needs. A good example is blade trinity.

I have to admit, I kinda agree with that… odd as it is as I haven't seen him in much else yet.

One man to lead them all:

But I do agree with David Cross as well, he'd be great…

And it's funny because here's 2 out of 3 of who would've been the replacements anyways:

Oh come on, you know you would've loved it…

::Rolls his eyes::

A basic summary of Chris Rock's humor: *ahem* “I'M BLACK, I'M BLACK, I'M BLACK, I'M BLACK! WHITE PEOPLE ARE CRAAAZEEE”

Thank you.
